District admin review Muharram security monitoring systems

DG KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner accompanied by District Police Officer (DPO) visited the Safe City, Smart City and central control room to review security arrangements ahead of Muharram ul Haraam.

During the visit, officers were briefed on the modern monitoring system installed in the control room, the operational status of CCTV cameras and surveillance mechanisms for processions and majalis.

The DPO directed officials to ensure continuous monitoring of all sensitive locations, imambargahs, majalis and processions throughout Muharram ul Haram to enable timely response to any emergency situation.

He said all available resources were being deployed to maintain law and order and protect the lives and property of citizens during the mourning month.

The Deputy Commissioner said district administration and police were jointly taking comprehensive measures to provide foolproof security and a peaceful environment throughout Muharram ul Haram.
