10,000 liters substandard beverages seized, destroyed in Food Authority operation

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Apr, 2026) Acting on the directives of Director General Kashif Jilani, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority on Saturday carried out a successful operation in Dera Ismail Khan, seizing 10,000 liters of substandard beverages from a warehouse.

According to officials, the raid was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Director Dr. Wasif Khan.

The confiscated beverages were destroyed on the spot, while heavy fines were imposed on the owners for violating food safety regulations.

Deputy Director Sajjad Ahmad stated that the authority remains committed to ensuring the provision of safe and quality food to the public and will continue its enforcement actions against violators.
