117 liters of liquor seized, three held

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Mar, 2026) Rawalpindi Police have launched operations against liquor suppliers, resulting in the arrest of three suppliers and the recovery of 117 liters of liquor.

According to police spokesperson, Waris Khan Police detained two suspects and recovered 107 liters of liquor from their possession.

In a separate operation, Civil Lines Police apprehended supplier and recovered 10 liters of liquor.

Separate cases have been registered against all the arrested suspects, and they have been taken into custody.

Police spokesperson stated that all possible measures are being taken to eradicate the menace of drug and illegal liquor trade from society.
