14-year-old domestic worker allegedly sexually assaulted in Lahore

Police said the man lured her out on the pretext of meeting and later took her to a private hotel in Lahore on January 26, 2026.

A 14-year-old domestic worker was allegedly sexually assaulted and blackmailed in Lahore after the suspect recorded and shared explicit videos of her, Gulberg Police said on Wednesday.

The victim, who worked with her parents at a residence in a private housing society, had befriended the suspect through a female friend. Police said the man lured her out on the pretext of meeting and later took her to a private hotel under the guise of a meal.

According to FIR, the victim's father said that his daughter had expressed her intention to marry the boy. He personally contacted the boy on his mobile phone and issued a warning, but the boy ignored it and forcibly took his daughter away.

On January 26, 2026, the boy invited the victim for dinner and abducted her. During this time, he and his accomplices reportedly made a video of the girl, which was later used to blackmail her. The father has stated that he possesses evidence of this act.

According to the police, the accused was traced using modern technology to FC Katchi Abadi and taken into custody.

“At the hotel, the accused sexually assaulted the girl and recorded explicit videos,” said SP Shehrbano Naqvi. He later shared the videos to blackmail the minor and made them go viral, the SP added.

A case has been registered against the suspect, identified as Hasnain, and further investigation is underway. Praising the efforts of Gulberg Police, Shehrbano Naqvi said, “Providing protection to women is our top priority.”

The father has requested immediate legal action against the culprits and urged that a case be registered under Section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code, along with any other relevant provisions of the law.
