KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2026) The Government of Sindh has significantly accelerated business facilitation through its digital platform, the Sindh Business One Stop Shop (SBOSS), with clear results beginning to emerge in just a few months. This initiative was introduced under the CLICK project.
Spokesperson Sindh Government Sukhdev Assardas Hemnani stated that SBOSS has completely transformed the business ecosystem in the province by integrating 16 departments, 19 institutions, and more than 130 licenses into a single online system. This integration has led to a substantial reduction in traditional bureaucratic procedures and delays, said a statement on Friday.
He said, "In just nine months, more than 15,000 businesses have been registered and over 8,000 e-licenses have been issued. This is clear evidence of enhanced transparency, efficiency, and growing investor confidence in Sindh."
Hemnani added that entrepreneurs, startups, and investors can now submit applications, track progress, and obtain approvals through a single platform, effectively eliminating long-standing bureaucratic hurdles.
He emphasized that this is not merely a reform but a complete transformation of the business system. The era of conventional paperwork and procedural delays is coming to an end.
He further highlighted that young people and women are benefiting the most from this system, as they now enjoy direct and streamlined access to government services for obtaining licenses.
According to Hemnani, SBOSS is not only promoting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) but also accelerating investment and innovation, positioning Sindh as an emerging powerhouse for business and commerce.
He concluded by stating that this initiative reflects the vision of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, which aims to lay the foundation for a modern, transparent, and business-friendly Sindh.
