16 outlaws arrested, drugs, liquor, weapons seized during crackdown

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2026) Police have arrested 16 outlaws and recovered drugs, liquor, and illegal weapons along with ammunition from their possession during operation here on Saturday.

According to police spokesperson, the operation were conducted in multiple areas including Chontra, Pirwadhai, Bani, Race Course, Mandra, Rawat, Kallar Syedan, New Town, Naseerabad, Taxila, Wah Cantt, and Chaklala.

During the crackdown, Police have recovered 1.7 kilograms of drugs, 63 litres and two bottles of liquor, as well as weapons with ammunition.

The separate cases have been registered against the arrested individuals and further investigations are underway.

Divisional SPs commended police teams action and professionalism and stated that those involved in drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons will not be able to evade the law.
