168 decanting shops sealed last month

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) The civil defence department during a crackdown on illegal business of decanting, sealed a total of 168 LPG shops in the month of May.

According to official sources here Wednesday, the machinery and cylinders from 77 shops were seized.

In addition, cases were registered against 2 owners at the concerned police stations.

Moreover, challans were issued against 13 shopkeepers and forwarded to the court for further action.

Meanwhile, legal action was also taken against the illegal sale of loose petrol and seized 22 machines.
