17 caught over power theft

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jun, 2026) The anti-power theft campaign continued across the district, as task force teams of

FESCO detected 17 electricity theft cases on Saturday and initiated legal proceedings

against the accused.

According to official data, a total of 17 cases of electricity theft were referred for registration

of First Information Reports (FIRs). During the operation, authorities charged the accused

consumers with 25,553 detection units, amounting to Rs 666,016.
