ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) Pre-Hajj flight operations from Pakistan were in full swing with a fresh group of 2,687 intending pilgrims arriving in Madinah, who were warmly received at their accommodations by Madinah Coordinator Kashif Hussain, along with officials from Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The concerned authorities stated that comprehensive measures had been put in place to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay for the pilgrims during their time in the holy city.

To mark the occasion, a formal reception was held in honor of the arriving guests. The ceremony featured a cake-cutting event and a special dinner, reflecting the efforts being made to extend a welcoming and hospitable environment to the pilgrims.

Organizers noted that such initiatives were part of arrangements aimed at enhancing facilities and overall experience for those undertaking the sacred journey.

Millions of Muslims from across the globe were expected to gather in Saudi Arabia to perform the annual pilgrimage, which was one of the five pillars of islam.

Pakistani authorities, in coordination with Saudi officials, continued to oversee arrangements related to transportation, accommodation, and essential services to ensure a seamless experience for all intending pilgrims.
