2 killed, 7 injured in Chiniot road crash involving loader rickshaw, harvester

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2026) Two people died and seven were injured when a loader rickshaw collided with a harvester on Lahore Road near Harsa Sheikh in Chiniot on April 18.

According to rescue sources, the incident was reported to Rescue 1122, which dispatched a team to the scene.

Both vehicles were headed toward Pindi Bhattian when the loader rickshaw hit the harvester while overtaking.

The crash resulted in two deaths on the spot and seven injuries. Rescue 1122 teams reached the accident site within 10 minutes and started operations.

The deceased were identified as 14-year-old Nabila and 12-year-old Naveed Aman, both from Jund Wali Colony.

The injured include driver Ajmal, Shakeela , Shabana, Kanza, Adila, Walid Aman, and Tanzila Aman.

Rescue 1122 provided first aid to the injured at the scene and shifted them to District Headquarters Hospital Chiniot.

The bodies of the deceased were also moved to the hospital.Officials said the rescue operation was completed on time and the condition of all seven injured is now out of danger.
