2-member gang involved in street crimes arrested

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Feb, 2026) Police have arrested a two-member gang allegedly involved in street crime and theft, recovering a snatched mobile phone and Rs10,500 from their possession.

According to police spokesman, a team from Morgah Police Station conducted a targeted operation and apprehended the suspects, who were wanted in multiple incidents of street crime and theft in the area.

Police have registered separate cases against criminal gang.

SP Potohar, Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan commended police team for their swift action and said the suspects would be challaned in court with solid evidence.

He added that those depriving citizens of their valuable belongings would not escape the grip of the law.

Police said further investigation is underway to determine the suspects’ involvement in other criminal activities.
