2 workers injured in LPG cylinder blast

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Apr, 2026) Two workers were seriously injured on Tuesday following a cylinder explosion at the Qalandari LPG shop in Nawabshah.

The blast occurred at the facility located on Sakrand Road, near Sachal Sarmast College.

According to initial reports, the injured individuals were identified as 21-year-old Sajan Ali, son of Raheem Bux Khokhar, and 24-year-old Sajid Ali, son of Muhammad Ali Brohi. Both sustained injuries in the explosion and were initially provided medical assistance before being referred to Karachi for further treatment. Rescue 1122 responded promptly to the incident and arranged two ambulances to shift the injured persons to Karachi.

The attendants accompanying the injured were identified as Nadir Ali, son of Dhani Bux Khokhar, and Muhammad Ali along with Asif Ali Brohi. Police have registered FIR No. 55/2026 under sections 285, 286, 337-H(i), and 427 of the Pakistan Penal Code against Naveed, son of Zaheer Ali Khwaja, Arslan, son of unknown Qureshi, and Riaz Hussain, son of Muhammad Umar Keerio. Following the registration of case, police have arrested one of the accused, Riaz Hussain, while further investigation is underway.
