20 POs arrested

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Mar, 2026) The police have arrested 20 Proclaimed Offenders (POs) wanted in various cases of robbery, theft and bogus cheques during a vigorous crackdown across the city here on Thursday.

Police spokesman said that on the directives of City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar, the police launched operation against most wanted criminals and arrested 20 proclaimed offenders including Arjan Masih, Zahid, Tajammal, Waheed, Tariq, Sajid, Arshad, Anas, Akmal and Tausif among others, who had been evading arrest in different criminal cases.

The police have initiated legal proceedings against the arrested proclaimed offenders while further investigation is underway, he added.
