200 million kept fund for purchasing & distribution of 500 electric wheelchairs

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jun, 2026) Balochistan Government has allocated Rs 200 million fund for the purchase and distribution of 500 electric wheelchairs.

While addressing at the budget session on Wednesday, Balochistan Finance Minister Shoaib Nosherwani said that expansion of feeder routes and bus stops of green and pink buses to provide better transport services to the public, along with this, People's Train Service and Electric Buses would also be launched.

He said that provision of interest-free loans to women to promote women's economic independence and women entrepreneurs.

He said that rupees 200 million has been kept for the establishment of incubation centers and mini sports complexes in different districts adding that Rs, 600 million allocated for the special support program for the public.
