FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jun, 2026) As many as 257 deserving families received allotment letters for three-marla residential plots under Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s flagship “Apni Zameen, Apna Ghar” program in Faisalabad.
The allotment letter distribution ceremony was held at the DC Complex where Deputy Commissioner Captain (Retd) Nadeem Nasir handed over the documents to successful beneficiaries selected under the housing initiative launched by the Punjab government.
Director PHATA Rao Nasir and Deputy Director PHATA Chaudhary Sultan were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, the deputy commissioner congratulated the beneficiaries and extended his best wishes, describing the occasion as a significant step towards improving the living standards of underprivileged segments of society.
He said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz envisioned providing dignified housing opportunities to ordinary citizens and ensuring that deserving families could secure a permanent place to live with honor and security.
He said that the “Apni Zameen, Apna Ghar” program was emerging as a beacon of hope for poor and deserving families across the province.

He said that Punjab government was implementing public welfare projects with full commitment and dedication, adding that housing remained one of the major priorities of the provincial administration.
Highlighting the program’s transparency, he said that allotments were being made strictly on merit to ensure that the benefits reached genuine and deserving applicants.
The transparent selection process reflected the government’s determination to promote fairness and equal opportunities in the distribution of public resources, he added.
He urged the beneficiaries to make productive use of the opportunity and contribute towards the development of their communities by establishing secure and stable homes for their families.
The recipients expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and the district administration for providing them with an opportunity that would help improve their socioeconomic conditions and provide shelter to their families.
