28 citizens receive Rs51.1m pending dues on Ombudsman’s orders

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Apr, 2026) The Office of the Ombudsman Punjab has facilitated the payment of over Rs51.1 million in pending dues to 28 citizens across the province, ensuring timely relief and effective redressal of public grievances.

According to a spokesperson, the complainants had approached the Ombudsman after facing prolonged delays and non-payment of their dues by various government departments. Taking prompt notice of the complaints, the Ombudsman issued directions to the authorities concerned and pursued the cases closely, leading to the successful disbursement of the pending amounts.
