28 criminals arrested in district-wide police crackdown

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) Police arrested 28 criminals,including proclaimed offenders(PO's) and court absconders during separate operations conducted over the past 24 hours,officials said on Wednesday.

According to a police report,law enforcement teams also apprehended 12 drug dealers in targeted raids and recovered narcotics, including 5kg hashish,2kg heroin,1kg ice and 125 liters of liquor.

Police further seized illegal weapons and ammunition from seven suspects during the operations.

All arrested individuals have been shifted to relevant police stations, where cases have been registered and further legal proceedings initiated,the report added.
