FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th May, 2026) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Imran Malik has suspended 32 police officials over negligence and dereliction of duty as they failed to report to their new places of posting despite transfer orders.
Police spokesman said here on Monday that the suspended officials had been transferred to different police stations and assignments across Faisalabad. However, they failed to comply with official orders and did not report to their designated postings within the stipulated time.
Before the disciplinary action, the transferred employees were warned through the Personal Assistant (PA) branch to immediately report to their new duty stations but several officials allegedly continued to show negligence and irresponsibility.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>The suspended officials include Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Ahsan, head constables Fazal, Farooq and Asif, along with constables Usman, Basharat, Naeem, Bilal and several others, he added.
Meanwhile, SSP Operations Imran Malik said that negligence and carelessness in official duties would not be tolerated under any circumstances and strict disciplinary action would continue against employees violating departmental discipline and official instructions.
Timely compliance with transfer and posting orders was essential for maintaining discipline, administrative efficiency and effective policing within the district police system, he added.
