327 WASA employees upgraded

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) Managing Director WASA Faisal Shaukat said on Monday that 327 employees, including 235 sewer men were granted time scale upgradation in a significant step aimed at improving service delivery and boosting staff morale.

Addressing a ceremony organized by Ghazi Union CBA WASA for the distribution of upgradation orders, he said that officers and staff were working tirelessly to provide better water supply and drainage facilities to citizens.

He emphasized that employees were the backbone of the organization and their dedication had led to continuous improvement in WASA’s performance. He called for enhanced teamwork, responsibility, and commitment to public service to further improve civic facilities.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Managing Director Engineering Engr Zeeshan Shaukat Gondal, Director Admin and Engineering Rabia Mehfooz, Director Recovery Muhammad Saeed Dogar, Deputy Director Legal Muhammad Saleem, Ghazi Union President Malik Waheed Rajwana, General Secretary Ahsan Dogar, and a large number of employees.

Union representatives termed the upgradation a historic step, stating that it had raised employees’ morale and created a wave of satisfaction among the workforce. They also appreciated the employee-friendly initiatives taken by the MD WASA.

Faisal Shaukat reiterated his commitment to ensuring departmental growth, employee welfare, and professional development, adding that WASA would continue striving for improved public service delivery through collective efforts.
