33 kg hashish,40 kg Opium recovered

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st May, 2026) Following the vision and instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Counter Narcotics Force is continuing its vigorous operations against drug dealers across the division.

According to details, Punjab Counter Narcotics Force Sargodha Division conducted a successful operation based on intelligence information near Chak 40 South area of Sargodha and recovered 33 kg hashish and 4 kg opium from the possession of the accused.

A case has been registered against the accused and investigation has been initiated.

DG Punjab Counter Narcotics Force and Director Punjab Counter Narcotics Force Sargodha Division reiterated their resolve to continue operations against drug smugglers and drug dealers and said that they will uproot the scourge of drugs from the society.
