A 33-member Pakistan contingent will feature in the 6th Asian Beach Games after being cleared by the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) to participate in the event scheduled from April 22 to 30 in Sanya, China

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) A 33-member Pakistan contingent will feature in the 6th Asian Beach Games after being cleared by the Pakistan sports board (PSB) to participate in the event scheduled from April 22 to 30 in Sanya, China.

The PSB has granted a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the national contingent, subject to necessary clearances from the relevant ministries.

According to the official list, Pakistan will compete in five disciplines—athletics, handball, ju-jitsu, kabaddi and wrestling—with a total of 33 members comprising athletes, coaches and officials.

In athletics, a four-member contingent will represent Pakistan, including one coach and three athletes.

Handball will have the largest representation with an 11-member squad, consisting of one coach and 10 athletes.

The ju-jitsu team comprises three members, including one coach and two athletes.

Kabaddi will be represented by a 10-member contingent, featuring two coaches, six athletes and two reserve players.

In wrestling, five members will take part, including one team official and four athletes.

The Asian Beach Games offer an important international platform for Pakistani athletes to gain exposure and showcase their talent at the continental level.
