ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) A fire incident in Islamabad left four people injured, with two later discharged after first aid, according to district administration.
The incident took place in Ittefaq Town within the limits of Kirpa Police Station.
Officials said the fire started when a gas cylinder caught flames due to a pipe leakage. The district administration spokesperson confirmed that the situation was brought under control after fire brigade teams reached the site and carried out response operations.
All four injured individuals were shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Two of them were discharged after receiving initial medical care, while the remaining injured continue to receive treatment.
Authorities said an assistant commissioner was present at the location to oversee the response and assess the situation. An initial review of the damage is underway to determine the extent of losses caused by the fire.
The district administration stated that emergency teams responded in time to contain the fire and prevent further spread. Further details about the cause and impact of the incident will be shared after the completion of the assessment.
