41 criminals held

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) Police on Wednesday arrested 41 criminals,including 14 proclaimed offenders(PO's) and recovered drugs and illegal weapons during raids conducted at multiple locations across the district.

According to police sources,the operations targeted criminal hideouts,leading to the arrest of 14 proclaimed offenders and eight drug peddlers.

Authorities seized 202 liters of liquor,seven bottles of imported wine and 1490 grams of hashish from the suspects.

In a separate action,two illegal weapon holders were apprehended in possession of 30 bore pistols and ammunition.

The arrested proclaimed offenders were wanted in multiple cases of dacoity,robbery and theft.

Separate cases have been registered against all suspects,police added.
