516 held violating tenancy act

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Apr, 2026) The district police arrested 516 property owners by registering 465 cases for violating

the ‘Tenancy Act” during the current year.

According to a police spokesperson on Tuesday, a crackdown is underway against landlords

who do not provide data of their rented families under the tenancy act.

It is the responsibility of both landlords and tenants to provide

data in the concerned police stations.
