56 criminals including 13 proclaimed offenders held

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) District police arrested 56 criminals, including 13 proclaimed offenders and 13 court absconders, during a crackdown carried out over the last 24 hours.

According to a police report issued on Wednesday, law enforcement teams also recovered looted property, narcotics, and illicit weapons from the possession of the suspects.

During targeted operations against drug trafficking, police apprehended 14 narcotics dealers and seized 8 kilograms of hashish, 1.2 kilograms of heroin, 1 kilogram of ice (crystal meth), and 67 liters of liquor.

In addition, illegal weapons and ammunition were recovered from the accused.

All arrested individuals have been detained at various police stations, and legal proceedings have been initiated against them.
