57 arrested,narcotics recovered

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Mar, 2026) The police arrested 57 criminals from various parts during the last 24 hours.

A police spokesman said on Saturday that police teams conducted operations in different areas of the

city and apprehended 57 accused involved in various criminal activities.

The police arrested eight drug peddlers during separate raids and recovered more than two kilograms of hashish,

over one kilogram of heroin, and 230 liters of liquor.

Similarly, the police arrested 10 accused for possessing illegal weapons and registered separate cases against them under relevant laws.

During the same period, the police also succeeded in arresting 15 proclaimed offenders and 4 court absconders who were wanted in different cases.
