7 stolen motorcycles recovered, two members gang busted in Rawat

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Jul, 2026) Police have arrested a two-member gang allegedly involved in multiple motorcycle theft incidents and recovered seven stolen motorcycles during a successful operation.

According to police spokesperson, the suspects were apprehended during a targeted crackdown in Rawat against motorcycle thieves.

The recovered motorcycles are believed to have been stolen from different areas and were confiscated for further legal proceedings.

Police said the gang's ringleader is a known and previously recorded offender who has allegedly been involved in robbery, motorcycle theft, and other theft-related crimes in the past.

SP Saddar Anum Sher stated that the arrested suspects would be presented before the court with solid evidence.

She emphasized that individuals who deprive citizens of their valuable property will not be allowed to evade the law.

Further investigations are underway to determine the gang's involvement in other criminal activities and to identify any additional accomplices.
