88 booked for possessing illegal weapons

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jun, 2026) Police arrested 88 people for possessing illegal weapons in May

and registered cases against the accused.

Police said here on Thursday that 88 cases were registered against

the individuals possessing illegal weapons and recovered illegal

weapons from the accused which include a Kalashnikov, two rifles,

66 pistols, six revolvers, two shotguns (12-bore), a carbine and

267 rounds of ammunition.

Further investigation was underway.
