9000 complaints resolved in Multan region in 11 months: Arif Khan Kundi

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2026) Deputy Advisor of the Federal Ombudsman at Multan Regional office Arif Khan Kundi said on Tuesday that regional office received total 13000 complaints against departments during the past eleven (11) months and 9000 of these stood resolved with compliance reports in the decided cases recorded at 98 per cent.

The deputy advisor was talking to media persons in Vehari after hearing complaints of the people at an open court, said an official release. He instructed the relevant officials present to address the issues without delay. He said that any citizen facing difficulties or unnecessary delays in obtaining services from federal institutions should promptly contact the Federal Ombudsman’s office for relief.

He added that the Ombudsman institution, committed to ensuring public convenience and swift redressal of complaints at people’s doorstep, is regularly conducting outreach visits and holding open courts across the country so that citizens’ issues may be resolved in accordance with the law.

Dozens of people attended the open court and presented their problems. More than 30 new complaints were received, on which immediate action orders were issued. The Federal Ombudsman’s representative also directed officers of federal departments present on the occasion to facilitate the public and extend full cooperation.
