97 'criminals' including 41 POs arrested

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2026) The district police arrested 97 alleged criminals including 41 proclaimed offenders (POs) and nine court absconders during the last 24 hours.

According to a police report issued here on Friday, police recovered looted property including drugs and illicit weapons from the possession of the outlaws.

Police teams during the crackdown held 19 narcotics dealers and seized 7 kg of hashish, 1.4kg of heroin, 140 grams of ice and 290 liters of wine. Police also recovered illicit weapons and ammunition for 14 outlaws.

All the outlaws have been locked at various police stations and legal action has been initiated.
