CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Chiniot Ayesha Rizwan inaugurated the polio campaign by administering vaccines to young children at Maryam Nawaz Hospital Chak 14. CO Health Dr. Saqib Munir, Deputy DO Dr. Naeema Ashraf and others were also present.
On this occasion, Ayesha Rizwan said that a four-day anti-polio campaign will be started across the district from April 13.
The target of this polio campaign is to vaccinate 295,263 children, while 1467 polio teams of the health department will work in the field in the polio campaign.
The relevant departments including health will work with full responsibility in the polio campaign. Parents should give polio drops to their children and protect them from lifelong disabilities.
