A walk held to promote awareness on children enrollment in school

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) The district administration of South Waziristan Upper has organized an awareness walk to promote the ongoing school enrollment campaign.

According to the administration, the held at DC office's compound, officials and staff from various government departments participated in the walk participated.

The participants were carrying placards, highlighting the importance of education and encouraging parents to ensure timely enrollment of their children in schools.

They emphasized the need to raise awareness about education and increase enrollment rates across the district.

Speaking at the conclusion of the walk, Deputy Commissioner Asmatullah Wazir said that providing education to every child was among the government’s top priorities.

He added that cooperation from parents was essential to achieve this goal.

District Education Officer (Male), Malik Khan Mehsud, also addressed the participants, stating that the Primary objective of the enrollment campaign was to bring as many children as possible into schools and promote a culture of education in society.

The district administration reaffirmed its commitment to taking practical steps to improve access to education and ensure continued progress in the sector.
