AAC Gumbat reviews health and veterinary services, inspects livestock market facilities in Kohat

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) Acting on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Kohat Muhammad Nawaz, Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC) Gumbat Syed Mukhtiar Shah on Wednesday carried out inspections of healthcare and veterinary facilities in the area, alongside a review of arrangements at the local livestock market to ensure effective public service delivery.

During his visit to the Rural Health Centre (RHC) Bili Tang and Veterinary Hospitals in Bili Tang and Gumbat, the AAC examined staff attendance, availability of medicines, cleanliness standards, and the overall quality of services being provided. He directed the concerned officials to ensure uninterrupted availability of essential medicines and further improve healthcare and veterinary services for the benefit of local residents and livestock owners.

The inspection also focused on evaluating operational efficiency and public facilitation measures at the health and veterinary institutions. Officials were instructed to maintain high standards of service delivery and promptly address any shortcomings affecting the public.

Later, Syed Mukhtiar Shah visited the livestock market, where he reviewed arrangements related to water supply, sanitation, security, and other essential facilities. He directed the relevant departments to ensure the timely provision of all necessary amenities for traders, livestock owners, and buyers.
