Abbasi condemns Lakki Marwat terrorist attack

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi on Wednesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Lakki Marwat and expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of nine Pakistanis.

In a statement issued here, the minister said the entire nation was grieved over the loss of precious lives, including two police personnel, in the tragic incident.

He prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attack.

The minister also conveyed heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families, prayed for their strength and patience during this difficult time.

Hanif Abbasi said cowardly acts of terrorism could not weaken the resolve of the nation, adding that the people of Pakistan remained united and resilient against all threats.

He reiterated that the state and security forces would continue their fight until terrorism was completely eradicated from the country.

The minister said the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with the country’s brave security forces and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism.

He said that terrorist elements would never succeed in their malicious designs, emphasizing that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not go in vain and that enemies of peace would be defeated on every front.
