Abbasi lauds security forces for successful IBO in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2026) Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi Wednesday paid tribute to the security forces for successfully eliminating 10 terrorists during an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) conducted in the Balochistan districts of Sohrab and Mastung.

In a statement, the minister commended the professionalism, courage and dedication of the security personnel, saying their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism were a source of pride for the entire nation.

He said the armed forces and law enforcement agencies had rendered invaluable sacrifices to safeguard Pakistan's peace, stability and national security, reaffirming that the nation stood united behind them.

Hanif Abbasi said effective operations against terrorist networks, including those allegedly backed by India and outfits referred to by the government as "Fitna al-Hindustan," were essential to protecting the country's national security.

The minister reiterated that security forces would continue their operations with full resolve until terrorism was completely eradicated from Pakistan.

He emphasized that the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with the country's brave armed forces, security agencies and law enforcement institutions, adding that anti-state elements would never be allowed to succeed in their malicious designs.
