Abbottabad officials conduct surprise inspections of matriculation exam centers

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) In line with the Good Governance Roadmap set forth by the provincial government, district administration officials carried out surprise inspections of various matriculation (9th and 10th grade) examination centers across the district on Wednesday.

Additional Assistant Commissioner Kamran Ali Shah and Additional Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Tariq conducted detailed visits to multiple exam centers to assess the conduct of the ongoing annual examinations.

The officials first visited the Polytechnic College Mandian and Government Post Graduate College Mandian examination centers.

During the inspection, they reviewed the ongoing examination activities, evaluated the facilities being provided to students, and checked the functionality of CCTV cameras installed to prevent cheating. The staff on duty were issued necessary instructions to ensure discipline.

The examination environment at both centers was reported to be peaceful, organized, and in compliance with the prescribed regulations.

Subsequently, the inspection team also visited the examination centers at Government Higher Secondary school (GHSS) Nawanshahr and Government High School (GHS) Dhamtor. At these centers, the officials conducted a thorough review of the examination halls, verified the attendance of supervisory staff, and assessed the overall logistical arrangements.

According to the district administration, the overall examination environment across all centers was found to be satisfactory.

However, the supervisory staff was strictly directed to remain vigilant at all times, take all possible measures to prevent cheating, and ensure that the examinations are conducted in a transparent, fair, and disciplined manner.
