During the inspection, the assistant commissioner expressed strong displeasure over the absence of officially prescribed price lists at several shops. He issued strict warnings to the concerned shopkeepers, directing them to prominently display government-approved rate lists.

In a significant action, a petrol agency was sealed on the spot for selling fuel at a price higher than the officially notified rate.

The owner of the outlet was summoned to the office for further legal proceedings.

Dr. Hamid instructed all traders to strictly adhere to government rates for essential commodities and ensure the display of price lists at visible locations. He warned that violations would result in strict legal action without exception.

Furthermore, the assistant commissioner constituted a monitoring team to carry out daily inspections in Panyala Bazaar to ensure the availability of essential items at official prices and to maintain market discipline.
