AC Lawa reviews sanitation drive in Dhernal, orders immediate resolution of sewerage issues

TALAGANG, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Jun, 2026) Assistant Commissioner (AC) Lawa, Sana Nadeem, visited Dhernal under the “One Day One Village” campaign and inspected sanitation activities in various streets of the area. The overall cleanliness situation was found satisfactory; however, sewerage issues were observed at two locations.

She directed the concerned staff to resolve the problems immediately and imposed fines on those responsible.

During the visit, she also reviewed the safety measures taken to secure wells that had been identified during a previous inspection. The measures were found to have been completed satisfactorily.

Later, the AC visited the Rural Health Center (RHC) Dhernal, where the newly constructed building was found fully functional.

Medical staff were present on duty, and the availability of medicines was satisfactory. However, improvement was needed in the cleanliness of washrooms, and the officer in charge was directed to take immediate corrective measures.

She also carried out price control inspections in Dhernal and examined the license of a medical store to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Earlier in the day, Sana Nadeem held a public hearing at her office, listened to citizens’ grievances, and issued necessary directions to the relevant departments for their resolution. She later presided over a Revenue Court session to hear and review pending revenue cases.
