AC meets special persons, orders immediate assistance

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Paharpur, Dr. Hamid, along with the Tehsildar, visited Village Sago Shumali and met with special persons at their homes to inquire about their issues.

During the visit, the Assistant Commissioner directed the District Officer of the Social Welfare Department to ensure the immediate provision of wheelchairs for deserving individuals within 24 hours.

He also issued necessary instructions to relevant departments for addressing other problems faced by special persons and assured that the administration would extend relief on a priority basis.

Dr. Hamid emphasized that all possible measures would be taken to facilitate special persons so they could live dignified and self-reliant lives without facing undue hardship.
