AC Paharpur reviews Eid cleanliness arrangements in various areas

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Paharpur, Dr. Hamid on Thursday paid a surprise visit to inspect various neighborhoods, streets, parks, and markets across the tehsil to review cleanliness arrangements during Eidul Azha operations.

During the visit, the assistant commissioner inspected sanitation conditions at different locations and directed the Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) staff to immediately clear heaps of sacrificial waste found in several areas.

He also issued instructions to ensure effective cleanliness measures in residential localities, drains, nullahs, and bazaars to maintain hygiene and prevent inconvenience to the public.

Officials said that although no public complaints regarding sanitation had been received, field teams were directed to further strengthen the cleanliness campaign by removing all remaining waste from streets and alleys in addition to designated collection points.

Dr. Hamid said providing citizens with a clean and healthy environment during Eid remained the top priority of the district administration.
