AC Talagang inspects bazaar development works

TALAGANG, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) A scrutiny committee meeting for the “Apna Khet Apna Rozgar” program on Wednesday was held under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Talagang Muhammad Suleman Minhas, during which applications submitted under the initiative were reviewed and various implementation-related matters were discussed.

The meeting focused on examining applications received from prospective beneficiaries and ensuring transparency in the scrutiny process. Officials also deliberated on procedural and administrative aspects of the program aimed at supporting agricultural development and creating employment opportunities in rural areas.

Following the meeting, Assistant Commissioner Suleman Minhas visited Talagang Main Bazaar to inspect the progress of an ongoing development scheme.

During the visit, he reviewed the pace and quality of development work, monitored prices of essential commodities, and checked the availability and display of official rate lists at shops.

As part of the inspection, temporary encroachments were removed from the market to improve public convenience and traffic flow.

The Assistant Commissioner directed shopkeepers to strictly adhere to government-notified prices and ensure the prominent display of rate lists, warning that violations would invite legal action. He reiterated the administration’s commitment to facilitating citizens through effective market regulation and timely completion of development projects.
