ADC reviews facilities, human rights compliance at Abbottabad Jail

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2026) Additional Deputy Commissioner (Relief & Human Rights) Abbottabad, Amanullah Saeed, conducted a detailed visit to District Jail Abbottabad to review facilities and overall management.

During the inspection, he examined prisoners' accommodation, sanitation conditions, medical services, and the quality of food being provided.

He also met with jail authorities and stressed the importance of ensuring basic facilities for inmates and strengthening reform measures.

The ADC interacted directly with prisoners, listened to their concerns, and issued on-the-spot instructions to address their issues.

He said the district administration remains committed to improving prison conditions and ensuring a better environment within the jail system.
