ADC reviews polio drive, hospital facilities during Kahuta visit

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Apr, 2026) Additional Deputy Commissioner (HQ), Abdul Rehman Khan visited Kahuta tehsil on Wednesday and reviewed the ongoing anti-polio campaign, directing teams to ensure coverage of every child.

Accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Kahuta Shireen Gul, he inspected the performance of polio teams in various areas and stressed the need to achieve the goal of complete eradication of the disease through effective outreach.

During the visit, the ADC also inspected Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Kahuta, where he reviewed availability of medicines, attendance of doctors and staff, and medical facilities being provided to patients.

He directed the hospital administration to ensure provision of quality healthcare services without any negligence.

He also visited ongoing development projects under the Punjab government and instructed the relevant officials to complete them within stipulated timelines while maintaining quality standards.

Meanwhile, Abdul Rehman Khan participated as chief guest in a plantation drive at Karot Hydropower Project, where he planted a sapling and said tree plantation was essential for environmental improvement and a safer future for coming generations.
