ADC visits rain-hit areas, reviews relief activities

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Apr, 2026) On the special directives of Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad, Sarmad Salim Akram, the district administration has accelerated the process of providing immediate relief to citizens affected by the recent rains and assessing damages.

According to an official handout, acting promptly upon a request received from the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Relief and Human Rights), Additional Assistant Commissioner (Nathia Gali), Muhammad Tariq, along with relevant officers, conducted a detailed visit to Malach, Nathia Gali.

During the visit, the affected house was inspected. Acting swiftly on the affected person's application, the damages were assessed.

Subsequently, the case was formally registered in the Digital Compensation System.

For further action, approval, and disbursement of financial assistance, the case report has been sent to the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Relief and Human Rights), Abbottabad. This step ensures that timely financial aid and relief can be provided to the affected family in accordance with the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's policy.

The district administration continues its activities of damage assessment and relief operations in other rain-affected areas as well, to ensure transparent and timely assistance reaches all deserving individuals.
