Advisor Essrani takes notice of fire incident in Gul Plaza basement

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Mar, 2026) Advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh on Rehabilitation Gyan Chand Essrani has taken notice of the fire incident in the basement of Gul Plaza.

He directs DG Rescue 1122 Sindh to ensure an immediate and effective rescue operation.

He said that protection of human lives should be the top priority and the fire must be controlled quickly.

Gyan Chand Essrani directed that a moment-by-moment report of the ongoing operation at the site be provided.

Rescue 1122 and all relevant institutions should continue relief operations with full coordination, he said adding that additional rescue resources should be provided immediately to deal with any emergency situation.

The Advisor to the Chief Minister directed that the causes of the fire should be determined immediately and a report be submitted.
