After Hajj rituals, pilgrims gather for Eid prayers at Prophet’s Mosque

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Thousands of pilgrims, worshippers and lovers of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) gathered at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi to offer Eid Al-Adha prayers in a deeply emotional and spiritual atmosphere following key Hajj rituals during Hajj 1447 AH.

According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Eid sermon was delivered by Imam and Khatib of the Prophet’s Mosque Ahmed Al-Hudhaifi, who praised Allah Almighty, congratulated Muslims on Eid Al-Adha and prayed for acceptance of good deeds and worship.

Sheikh Ahmed Al-Hudhaifi highlighted that Eid Al-Adha strengthens feelings of unity, love, brotherhood and compassion among Muslims and encourages cooperation in goodness and righteousness.

SPA told APP that the imam urged Muslims to continue praying for peace, stability, prosperity and unity of the Muslim Ummah during the blessed days of Eid.

He also praised Saudi Arabia’s continued care for the Two Holy Mosques and appreciated the efforts being made to facilitate pilgrims and Umrah performers so they could perform rituals in comfort, security and peace.

The worshippers remained engaged in prayers, remembrance of Allah and recitation of the Holy Quran after Eid prayers as emotional scenes unfolded inside the Prophet’s Mosque courtyards filled with pilgrims from around the world.

Saudi authorities had made comprehensive operational, security and crowd-management arrangements to facilitate worshippers and maintain smooth movement inside and around the Prophet’s Mosque during Eid prayers and the Hajj season.
