ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior APHC leader and President of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi hailed Pakistan’s role in brokering the ceasefire between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, calling it a historic diplomatic success and a major setback for forces hostile to peace and

humanity.

According to Kashmir Media Service, in a statement issued in Srinagar, Agha Moosvi said the two-week ceasefire following the ceasefire was not merely a diplomatic pause but a significant achievement marked by resilience, foresight and collective sacrifice.

He attributed the development to the sacrifices of the Iranian leadership and people, highlighting the role of the martyred leader Supreme Leader, and the wisdom and strategic leadership of Ayatollah Syed Mojtaba Khamenei.

He said the world was at a decisive turning point where the struggle between truth and falsehood continued to shape global affairs. “While the ceasefire may appear as a diplomatic development, it carries a deeper narrative of perseverance, strategy and sacrifice,” he added.

Referring to what he described as illegal and aggressive actions of global powers, Agha said Iran’s response had become a source of pride and encouragement for the Muslim Ummah.

He noted that the steadfastness of the Iranian nation had demonstrated that oppressive structures ultimately collapse before the strength of truth.

He emphasized that the ceasefire should not be seen as a sign of weakness but as a principled and prudent decision through which Iran compelled its adversaries to engage in negotiations without compromising its sovereignty and dignity.

He maintained that acceptance of Iran’s principled stance indicated the emergence of a new global balance of power .

The APHC leader also appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in easing regional tensions and promoting dialogue.

Meanwhile, President of Muslim Students Federation, Dr Qamar-uz-Zaman Zargar, in a statement in Srinagar, hailed Pakistan’s role in facilitating the ceasefire and termed the planned meeting between Iran and the United States in Islamabad on Friday a positive step.

He said Kashmiris had full faith in Pakistan’s peace efforts, expressing hope that these would also push India to abandon its rigid approach and resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with its commitments.
