ISLAMABAD:
Senator Aimal Wali Khan on Sunday termed April 19 a defining moment in Pakistan's democratic trajectory, saying the passage of the 18th Amendment symbolises a culmination of sustained struggle, sacrifice and political resolve. He said the 18th Amendment marked a historic shift by restoring rights and powers to the provinces and granting identity to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, calling it a major milestone in strengthening federalism. According to him, the amendment represented a significant advancement in recognising provincial autonomy and correcting longstanding imbalances in the federation.
