Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi inaugurates JTI/Rising Tennis Stars programme

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi inaugurated the JTI/Rising Tennis Stars programme here at The City School, E-11 Campus on Tuesday.

Senior management from The City School (TCS) Regional Office and campus administration attended the event, alongside the PTF’s JTI team, Masood Abbasi (Regional JTI Coordinator) M. Waqar and Faizan Shahid (PTF coaches) who conducted various activities throughout the day under the supervision of Sara Mansoor (Director NTC) Hamid Niaz NC JTI and Salman Junaid SVP PTF, said a press release.

Activities at the Festival included a seminar for parents, Tennis demonstrations, Student participation in tennis sessions, JTI Tennis Drawing Competition, JTI Tennis Quiz Competition and JTI Tennis Essay Writing Competition.

The festival concluded successfully with certificates distributed to participating students.

TCS students and staff were thrilled to meet Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, who engaged with the children and signed autographs.

Both PTF and TCS reaffirmed their commitment and enthusiasm to promote tennis and develop future champions through the JTI/Rising Tennis Stars initiative.

Productive discussions continued over high tea, where the program for the next two festivals was finalized for April 15 and 16.
