AJK government appoints Arshad Mehmood as Advisor to PM on Investment

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government has appointed prominent businessman Arshad Mehmood as Advisor to the Prime Minister on Investment.

According to a notification issued by the Prime Minister’s Secretariat in Muzaffarabad, AJK Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has approved Arshad Mehmood’s appointment as Advisor on Investment.

Mehmood will serve in an honorary capacity, and the appointment takes immediate effect. He has previously served as Advisor on Tourism to former Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas.

He is also a member of the Health Task Force under Pakistan’s Federal Ministry of Health.
